Cappie's Care @ Kamunting

i am animal lover in general, specifically dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs...
i have a Mixed breed which has been with me for 9 years now since she was 3 months old. I got her from a college mate of mine because he was unable to take care of her. I was in my final year of studies in Miri, Sarawak and imported her to West Malaysia after completing my studies. Proudly saying, i did 50% of her training myself even though its not perfect. She is a family dog, loves kids and we call her the perimeter motion sensor. She loves to be pet, scratched and massaged. She hates being cage and being confined in an area. She walks comfortably with leash but more happily without one. She enjoys the wind while in the car, playing tag, still wonders how to play frisbee and unfortunately, loves chocolate and to sleep under the car.

I recently adopted a German Shepherd which is a wonderful dog with a dark past. She is still recovering from that as she is still regaining trust from humans and i have had her for 5 months now. She is almost 2 years old, very playful, very adaptive, loves to socialize with other dogs and gets excited if you throw a toy to her.

Now, I too have 2 rabbits at the same vicinity of the dogs. Surprisingly, it took a few days for us to train the dogs towards the rabbits, 1 week for us to followup and all are good to go. Rabbits are caged as they are very sensitive to sound and sudden movement. We have schedules for our rabbits and dogs to mix with each other, which is usually under strict supervision.
I believe in not caging our dogs unless, it creates unwanted behaviours such as violence. I too believe that dogs are in their best behaviour when they free.
Playing with them, looking at them playing and interacting with each other makes me content.
